Resignation of Board Director

Avis Europe plc, a leading car rental company in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, announces that Simon Palethorpe, Group Commercial Director, has resigned from the company after four years of service, to move on to new challenges. Simon’s resignation is effective from 21st November 2008.

Pascal Bazin, CEO of Avis Europe, said:
